Graduated May, 1992 with a B.F.A. in Communication Design from Kutztown University, Kutztown Pennsylvania.

Current Position:

Spectrum Brands / Applica Inc, Madison, Wisconsin (June 2006 - Present) Associate Art Director for the Home Appliance division. Responsibilities include overseeing Black and Decker and Russell Hobbs brands, while helping on the George Foreman and Toastmaster brands. Also responsible for collateral material design, photography direction, coordinating with marketing team, prioritizing deadlines and communicating with printers and suppliers. Additional responsibilities include managing the photo studio and serving as in-house photographer.

Notable Experience:

PBS&J, Miami, Florida (September 2005 - June 2006) Senior Designer in the Media Group for architectural, engineering and planning firm. Responsibilities include creating large scale graphics, presentation covers, annuals, manuals, powerpoint presentations, and marketing graphics for nationwide offices of the company.

USA Labs, Miami, Florida (October 2001 - December 2004) Senior Art Director for manufacturing company that produces private label products including bath and body products, candles and cleaning supplies. Responsibilities include concept, label design, film preparation, presentation graphics and logo design for clients such as Target, Wolfgang Puck and Bath & Body Works.

Evans & Fitzgerald Advertising, Coral Gables, Florida (December 1996 - June 1998) Art Director for agency whose primary clients are in retail sales. Involved in the design, concept and production stages for several clients including The Falls Shopping Center, Miami Museum of Science, Alonzo Mourning’s Charitable Foundation, Piercing Pagoda, Rugged Wearhouse and Holiday Inn. Selected within three months of being hired to supervise the design and production of all SavingTimes newspapers, a monthly retail publication for Simon/DeBartolo malls across the United States.

Notable Freelancing:

Aquent, Nationwide (December 1992- June 2008) Freelancer - worked in various parts of the country as an Aquent Temp. Current position was a temp-to-hire position. PBS&J, Miami, Florida (September 2005 - June 2007) Senior Designer in the Media Group for architectural, engineering and planning firm. Responsibilities include creating large scale graphics, presentation covers, manuals, powerpoint presentations, and marketing graphics for nationwide offices of the company.

Niles Audio Corporation, Miami, Florida (March 2005 – September 2005) Art Director involved in the creation of trade show graphics, advertising, installation manuals, beauty boxes and master cartons for high end home audio products including speakers, receiver and such. Working closely with the creative director, we created a branding and support material, including image manipulation for a new website to coincide with a product launch in early September.

Notable Pro Bono:

Special Olympics, Miami, Florida (June 2006 - June 2007) Donation of my design services to help the Special Olympics of Miami-Dade county designing fund raising materials.
